PENNDEL SWIM LEAGUE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES
December 14, 2020

Attendance:  Kelly Burk, Ken Burk, Elliot Berton, Bruce Cooper, Mark Fisher, Howard Halpern, Bert Hewitt, Erik Nelson, Fred Polaski, Carl Sandoe, Tom Warrick (All participation By Zoom conference)

The meeting was called to order at 6:34 pm.

Minutes:  The November 9, 2020 Board of Directors Meeting Minutes were approved as presented.

Finance:  There were no expenses from the previous financial report.  The expenses and adjustments to the number of Zoom licenses for the League Clinic Trainers should show on the next financial report.  The Financial report was approved as presented.

Virtual Invitationals: The League organized the second Virtual Invitational in November.  16 teams and with 1,211 swimmers participated.  The results from the November Meet were compiled and distributed to the participating teams.  The Meet file for the December, January, and February meets are available, the February file has all of the events allowing teams to decide on which events they want to swim.

Official's Training:  The scheduled League Clinics are completed for this year.  There was not any more training since last meeting.  If there is a need to deliver additional training, the Zoom Licenses and trainers are available to do so.

State and National Championship Update:  The information was that Short Course and Long Course  Nationals were canceled.  The meets are subject to the restrictions put on each individual state.  There was a USA meet that was scheduled for the weekend of December 12, but it was pushed up and modified to be able to be completed before new Pennsylvania regulations went into place.

New Business:  The League website continues to improve; Tom previously had made adjustments to make the site more mobile friendly.  The board discussed the need to have an assistant webmaster to assist if Tom was unavailable.  This backup also applies to the Treasurer position.  The Board was going to review and discuss further at the next meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:03 pm.
